## What this is

This is **The 19th Brand OS** — the living home for the brand. One place that holds what The 19th is, how it sounds, and how it looks, so every flyer, post, banner and booking screen feels like the same place.

It replaces the old PDF guidelines. The PDF still exists as a download, but this is the version we keep current.

It is built to be read two ways: a **website** for the team, and **raw markdown** for AI tools. Point ChatGPT or Claude at `/llms.txt` and it can read the whole brand, then help you write and design on-brand.

## How to use it

- **Writing anything** — copy, captions, signage, emails — start with [Voice & Tone](/02-voice-and-tone).
- **Designing anything** — logos, colour, type, layout — start with [Visual System](/03-visual-system).
- **Need the why** — positioning, audience, the story — read [Brand DNA](/01-brand-dna).
- **Grabbing assets** — logos, the lockup, the font — the [Visual System](/03-visual-system) page has the downloads.
- **A decision was made** — it gets logged in [Memory](/05-memory).

## The brand in one breath

The 19th is a **premium golf simulator** at Space2B, The Maltings — a private members' space to play, practise and unwind. The simulator is the draw; the pool, darts and relaxed seating are the pleasant discovery. We sound confident, warm and a little witty, and we say **"the sim"**, not "the facility".

## For AI tools

Every page here is also served as raw markdown at `/raw/[file].md`, and the whole kit is indexed at [`/llms.txt`](/llms.txt). Language is UK English. The brand voice uses em-dashes freely. Never re-type the logo name in a font — always use the supplied artwork.
